Dr. Elena Matarrita, DDS, is a distinguished dentist specializing in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry.

She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2015 from the Latin American University of Science and Technology (ULACIT) in Costa Rica. Driven by a passion for advanced dental care, she pursued further specialization in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry at the Autonomous Popular University of Puebla State (UPAEP) in Mexico. UPAEP is renowned for having one of the most comprehensive Periodontics programs in Latin America, which has equipped Dr. Matarrita with the expertise to deliver exceptional patient care.

Dr. Matarrita’s dedication and meticulous approach have enabled her to restore her patients’ oral health by improving gum health, stabilizing periodontal tissues, and enhancing smiles. She is committed to preserving the aesthetic balance of the gums (often referred to as “pink aesthetics”) while ensuring the highest standards in surgical procedures.

Her foremost passion lies in continually advancing her skills in minimally invasive surgical techniques. This dedication allows her to provide high-quality non-surgical periodontal treatments, including scaling and root planning and implant maintenance, as well as expertly perform surgical procedures such as bone regeneration, minimally invasive gum grafts, crown lengthening, and dental implant placement.

Outside of her professional practice, Dr. Matarrita is an avid road cyclist, enjoying daily rides to stay active. She also finds solace in nature through hiking and indulges in photography, capturing the beauty of the natural world.implants, esthetic, and restorative dentistry.
